I am on a journey to CHANGE my life… by changing the lives of many others. I have always had crazy dreams (sorry mom and dad!) and I have let those dreams lead me in directions that most around me can’t understand and tell me NOT to. I have been told by both family, friends and strangers that I will fail or never succeed at many things along this journey to create a life that leaves a legacy and makes me happy.
…being told “you will be LUCKY to get in” when I applied to Duke University
…the skeptical looks when I announced I was buying a “fixer-upper” and starting a brand new job all in the same day.
…the discouragement I received as I made the scary decision to become a foster mom all by myself in my early 30s… “Are you serious??”, “Why would you do that?”, “You’re going to lose your job!”
Well today I am a Duke graduate with a fixer upper that has had almost a complete makeover… and I didn’t cut off any fingers along the way (only a near miss!). I have braved through 6 children and somehow managed to keep both my job and my sanity (at least most of the time!) along the way. I have adopted the most beautiful baby boy that God blessed me with, and I am praying our baby girl will also join our forever family within the next year.
The last 35 years has been far from easy or the “perfect” life, but it has been mine and has always been driven by my “CRAZY” dreams.

If people only knew how my children have changed mine far more than I could ever have imagined. Being a part of these children’s lives and their family’s lives is contagious and invigorating. I want to do MORE and GIVE BACK more …despite how crazy it may seem, something tells me our family just isn’t complete YET (hopefully once my babies are a bit older, but that is in God’s hands).
Needless to say, I have struggled with HOW to find more time and resources to be able to keep fostering and pursuing these crazy dreams. My current traditional career path doesn’t make my dreams seem possible…so I began to consider ways to supplement that complimented my lifestyle and was flexible.
I clearly didn’t “need” to add anything to my plate, but I have put all my excuses aside and decided to take yet another leap of faith in hopes to change the future of my ever-growing family…. Don’t worry, I am not quitting my day job! But I will be making a priority when my kids are sleeping and every spare moment to partner with woman like YOU, to make our crazy dreams come true.
When the opportunity came along to partner with and EMPOWER like-minded women with full plates and crazy dreams striving to make a living while keeping the things that matter the most as the top priority, I jumped right in… ALL IN. The business opportunity made sense and all the benefits that came along were what I NEEDED… genuine connections, coaching/partnering with inspiring women and men, life-changing products, flexibility, and an unlimited compensation plan.
