Before
Before the renovation, the office was carpeted with white walls and oak doors and trim. The lighting and hardware was gold toned.
After
The renovation of the office included new wood flooring, new base trim, painted white doors, bronze painted hardware, crown moulding, new ceiling fan and Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter (HC-172) walls.
This room is multi-functional as it serves as my office and home gym, so I added a flat screen tv on a rotating arm so I can use it to watch workout videos.
I LOVE Pure Barre so I bought a wall mounted barre from Pure Barre and added mirrors from Home Depot. I attached a painted white board to the studs behind the drywall and then attached the barre to the wood to ensure it would not pull off the wall.
The chest is another old family antique which was a pale yellow before I painted it with Paint du CoCo Snow White chalk paint with her dark wax and sprayed the hardware with bronze paint.
Bulletin board is just a standard one from Walmart with fabric wrapped and stapled onto it. I added silver tacks to decorate the edges.
The desk is an old family antique dining table that I painted with Annie Sloan Old White Chalk Paint and added a gold rub on it. I bought both in Parker, CO at Simpler Times. Chairs are part of a dining set I bought years ago off Craigslist and have painted and recovered (multiple times).
Curtains are Ikea Lenda which I have all over the house. They are simple, classic white and machine washable and affordable.
