Before and Afters…
Before the renovations the formal living and dining room had carpet, oak trim, white paint and gold fixtures.
The renovation of the formal living and dining room included:
- new click-and-lock hardwood flooring
- new wall base trim from Alpine Lumber in Parker, CO
- Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter (HC-172) painted walls
- new Quorum Salento 6 Light Up Chandelier in Persian White
The sofa was a family antique that I recovered with fabric and trim I bought from Joann Fabric. Since I do not sew, I had the cushion recovered at Cushion World. I recovered the Queen Anne chairs in drop cloth and trim found at Joann Fabric. The art is painted by my aunt and godmother Amy Grimes.
The yellow curtains and pillow were purchased from Home Goods. This art is also painted by my aunt and godmother Amy Grimes. The dining table and chairs I bought off Craigslist years ago and has been painted and recovered multiple times.
All these pillows and throw were purchased at Home Goods. The Queen Anne sofa is a family antique from my mother.
The gourds are from my garden in the backyard that came back this year from the previous owner. They have last quite a while since I cut them from the vine.
